His Excellency And Threeace Team

Gombe State University (GSU) recently welcomed Three Ace Technology Service Ltd, in collaboration with Oneminers—a global technology firm founded by Michal Beno and co-founded by Joseph Vojtas—for a potential strategic partnership aimed at driving technological innovation, sustainable energy development, and student empowerment.

The visit comes as part of Three Ace’s ongoing work in Gombe, where the company is executing a major project at the Muhammadu Buhari Mega Industrial Park. This project includes the development of a 150MW power supply and the establishment of a state-of-the-art data mining center—a bold step in Africa’s digital transformation.

Oneminers Team

The collaboration with GSU is focused on three core initiatives:

  1. Mini Solar Grid Development
A proposed collaboration to explore the installation of a mini solar power grid on campus, aimed at improving sustainable energy access for the university community.
  2. High-Speed Internet Access
Plans to provide fast and reliable internet services that will enhance academic research, digital learning, and administrative efficiency.
  3. Student Internship & Industrial Training
The partnership will offer short-term job placements, including internships and industrial training, giving students hands-on experience in digital technologies, power infrastructure, and blockchain.

During the meeting, representatives of Three Ace Technology and Oneminers expressed optimism about the collaboration, emphasizing the value of integrating academia with real-world tech development. The initiative promises to equip students with practical skills while contributing to Gombe State’s industrial and educational growth.

His Excellency and Company

This effort aligns with the vision of His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who launched the Muhammadu Buhari Mega Industrial Park to transform Gombe into a tech and industry hub.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of GSU extended his appreciation to the visiting team for their commitment, while the University’s Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Aliyu Bafeto, highlighted the institution’s readiness to collaborate with industry leaders for the benefit of students, faculty, and the broader community.
